Simplified modalities and procedures

The simplified modalities and procedures are the rules that govern small-scale projects.

They were adopted by the Conference of the Parties (COP) at COP 8 in 2002 and later adopted by the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP) at COP/MOP in Montreal in 2005 in Annex II to Decision 4/CMP.1.
