6/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 6 provides that project participants may use the simplified methodology applicable to their project.
6/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 2 sets out that project proponents should select and apply the methodology from this set that is appropriate to the proposed project activity or, if none are appropriate, propose alternative baseline and monitoring methodologies for the project to the Executive Board.
